Lessons from James Brown                        Network Broadcaster, CBS Sports and News
James Brown is a three-time Emmy award winning network broadcaster and was named’s “Best Studio Host of the Decade” in 2010. He is the host of “The NFL Today” on CBS and Super Bowl 50, host of “Thursday Night Football” on CBS and Special Correspondent for CBS News, contributing to various programs including “60 Minutes”.

Previous broadcasting roles include co-host of “Fox NFL Sunday”, host of “Inside The NFL” on Showtime correspondent for “Real Sports with Bryant Gumbel” on HBO and a nationally syndicated radio show on Sporting News Radio.

Lessons from Andy Stanley (immediately after Live2Lead)

Kat is an angel investor, humanitarian and philanthropist focused on elevating self-sufficiency through education, technology and access to opportunity around the world.

A Silicon Valley icon and philanthropist for more than 30 years, Steve Wozniak has helped shape the computing industry with his design of Apple’s first line of products, the Apple I and II, and influenced the popular Macintosh. In 1976, Wozniak and Steve Jobs founded Apple Computer, Inc. with Wozniak’s Apple I personal computer. In 1985, president Ronald Reagan awarded Wozniak the highest honor bestowed on America’s leading innovators, the National Medal of Technology, for his achievements at Apple Computer.

He has an extensive executive coaching background, and experience as an organizational consultant, devoting the majority of his time to improving leadership capabilities of CEOs and their executive teams.

April 18   Lessons from Nick Saban          
Head Football Coach at the University of Alabama
University of Alabama head football coach Nick Saban is in his ninth season with the Crimson Tide.  Saban has compiled an 86-17 record at Alabama while leading the Tide to five SEC Western Division championships, three conference titles and three national championships.  Saban entered the 2015 season with a career record of 177-59-1 as a collegiate head coach, while also serving at Toledo, Michigan State and LSU.

Saban won his first national  championship as head coachof the LSU Tigers in 2003, guiding the Tigers to a 13-1 record that season.  Overall, Saban has coached six conference championship teams. Saban won his first (1990, Mid-American, 2001, 2004,2009, 2012 and 2014 SEC) and 16 of his19 teams have played in postseason bowl games under Saban's direction.  Saban is also one of two coaches to win at least two BCS national championships and is the first to accomplish the feat at two different schools.

These are NOT sessions for complaining; rather an objective way for you to discuss the subjects and learn how one can apply the lessons into their own life.  The discussion will be focused in such a way that we can critically observe real work challenges and how we might implement changes that will enhance our own level of influence.
